Are You Drinking Enough Water?

When you woke up in the morning.

It always hits you.

You had an epic night.

Hangovers.

Are.

The.

Worst.

Sitting down at work, you suddenly feel lightheaded.

Before you know it.

Your leg muscle cramps.

You’re sweating and your body temperature increases and is not functioning properly.

Fitbit reminds you to walk around and have some water.

However, it’s time to text your friends and check Google for solutions.

“When you're thirsty, you're probably dehydrated.”

“Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water.”

“Add Gatorade, Biosteel, Coconut water, or Hydralyte to your wellness routine.”

“Have breakfast or brunch.”

“You can lose sodium which is needed for proper muscle contraction.”

“Put an electrolyte tablet in your water.”

Yes, there are apps, machines, scientific equations, and research studies that can help you.

But the basics is where all the answers lie.

I understand it could be your age, gender, history, culture, geographic location, finances, accessibility, weather, eating habits, or activity level.

The way you breathe.

Are you chugging or sipping?

The type of bottle you have or thinking of buying.

But it is really simple because your body will tell you.

Once you understand basic plain water is cheap, sugar-free, and calorie-free, you can audit yourself.

If you are well-hydrated, your urine will be light yellow.

If you are dehydrated, your urine will be dark yellow.

Adapt and improve to make it easy so you can do what you love.
