Scars Won’t Move

Question: How do you start off your day?

Coffee?

Watch the news?

Instagram?

Walk your dog?

Email?

Kiss your baby?

Run?

Check your phone to see if someone texts or called you?

Shower?

Call your mom or dad?

Figure out what you are going to wear?

It’s extremely difficult to change human behavior. 

Especially if you are dealing with anxiety and have negative thoughts the night before you sleep.

It’s a common theme, in the morning you are wide awake, fatigued, AND feeling mentally polluted. You have a problem, which is like a scar, and you feel it is impossible to solve.

You want to hit snooze on your alarm clock.

All the health problems, financial issues, changes in employment, and adjustment in living arrangement... 

Makes it difficult to breathe. 

Everyday you swallow something toxic. 

You went from trying to control your fearfulness to your mind going blank. At times you forgot what you actually wanted.

To build positive momentum, you have to win the first hour of YOUR day.

Whatever lifts up your mood.

Walk.

Playing your favorite song.

Meditation.

Sleep an hour extra.

Be thankful for today.

Read your goals -- maybe if you feel confident and excited this morning, today will be a huge opportunity for you.

We all have negative thoughts, ideas, and views.

But just like a scar won’t move, it will heal if you let it.
