One Foot In Front Of The Other

60. One Foot In Front Of The Other.001.jpeg

*clapping my hands*

Not if.

When.

Remember...

...yourself at the initial phase of your amazing journey and...

...the perception from the outside views you as a light.

It was pitch black, you are unavailable, you had doubts, and you’re “off”.

Now...

...you’re two arms lengths away toward your goals and dreams.

The spectators whispers:

“Woah.”

“I don’t believe it.”

“Wow.”

Your smile and zest display with one finger, you simply turned your light “on” and you’re shining in every possible way.

I’m sorry.

This is not the case.

Making a transformation, both external (physical) and internal (mental and emotional), is more than just tactics and an “off and on” switch.

Change is like writing with your wrong hand.

Whenever you make adjustments or adapt to ANYTHING, it will cause friction. I want you to understand that...

This.

Is.

Normal.

*looking in your eyes*

Not if.

When.

Perhaps you don’t see it.

I do.

Your work ethic and internal strength shows you’re really committed.

Like your parents and everyone around you, I want to say, “keep going.”

However, I know what you’re going through.

After one week, you don’t see massive results.

I’ve done this for years and I don’t want you to repeat your own mistakes.

The way you fix this is to trust the process.

When you trust the process, your “off and on” light switch becomes a dimmer switch.

There is nothing mystical happening.

Just interaction, consistency, learning principles, and simply putting one foot in front of the other.

One foot in front of the other.

One foot in front of the other and...

...this is how you make things that are tough, easy.

Ambidextrous could be in your vocabulary.

Getting comfortable with writing with your wrong hand is practice, repetition, and time.

Maybe you’ve forgotten that you've been using your dimmer (commitment and consistency) to control your brightness.

Soon, with all the progress you’ve made, people will ask you, “how do you look so good and have so much confidence?”

Trust the process so you can become whoever you want to be and have the life you truly want.
