Even If It's Slow, Start
You’re in a dance.
Emotions have their own intelligence.
When you experience that sensation, you can’t understand it.
You're always focusing on the clock.
Not on your wrist.
In your head.
Months.
Years.
As time goes by, you try to keep up.
Dreams and panic mode can spin and twirl you.
If you change your perspective on life and this moment, it will strip away the fear of what you absolutely love.
Sometimes suppressing emotion is unhealthy.
You want to.
But you can’t.
You just have to make sense of the “what” and “why”.
When you’re on a bicycle...
It’s extremely difficult to sit still, put both of your feet on the pedals, and don't move an inch forward...
...without falling over.
The essence of the bicycle analogy is designed for you to move forward and make progress towards something interesting and significant to you.
You can study and look at all the pathways, roads, and bike trails.
Think of all the possibilities.
The excitement and how much fun it will be.
How fast you can ride.
Make today perfect and go in the right direction.
What pictures will you take?
Should you wear your favorite shirt?
However, if you don’t start...
Because of the confusion, doubts, and insecurities from the previous programs you attempt that seem average and never seen great results.
…it will disrupt your ambition, grip the brake on your goals, and you won't explore the trajectory that makes you a better version of yourself.
Don't think yourself out of a mistake.
Here’s the truth:
You may get tired after work.
You probably will find it hard to stay consistent.
You will feel ashamed for the cheat food or wine you have.
Perhaps you may fall.
But you will minimize and take the edge off in your mind, if you have a partner that truly loves you and a coach that understands your current needs.
Start slow.
When you start slow, it generates information.
With the information, you can implement it.
Proper implementation creates skill.
Once you have skill you have confidence.
Confidence builds momentum.
After a while you’ll be surprised and constantly pushing past what you think you can achieve. From my experience, having fun and staying focused will make you dance without any worries and great things will happen.
