How To Overcome Fear

Something aggravating you?

A mixed feeling, anxiety, dark alleys in your mind, or unpleasant emotion that’s concerning your outcome.

Marines, billionaires, and two of my students meditate.

Here’s the thing...

Try not to view meditation as just “meditation”.

(yup. this is how I thought.)

You want to control, relax and focus your mind and emotions for a period of time.

Regardless what kind of technique you perform.

Books you read.

Apps, seminars, and podcasts you enjoy.

With meditation...

...it’s the byproduct, not the act, that helps you.

(personally, it wasn’t phobia. I thought it was... odd.)

You’re unique.

Your desires and needs are special.

The better you can think clean and have clairvoyance, the better you’ll improve what you absolutely love.

Life is go, go, go. You're caught up in the intense routine. Things and people are competing for your attention. Stopping is a no-no. It feels like you don’t have time for meditation.

I get it.

However, your brain can also develop as well as your body.

All the noise, distractions, chaos, and nervousness in your mind, will calm down, just like how your body will tone.

After 1 session, 10 seconds seems like 10 hours.

Overtime 10 seconds seems like 5 seconds.

Meditation is a force multiplier.

5 hours becomes 10 hours.

Your productivity changes and you get a lot more done.

Meditation is resistance that makes your brain sharper.

Taking vast amounts of knowledge and putting them into practice.

You recognize information faster.

Meditation is focused.

Become aware and conscious of your thought patterns.

You can work on your craft and do what you love.

Meditation is a process of relaxation.

It builds momentum for the rest of the day and reduces your fears.

Everything disappears and defies the rules of reality.

You can clear your mind, stay calm and stay in the present moment.

Meditation is simple.

It’s minimal and powerful.

The best part about it, it’s free.

Meditation is accountability.

It can be 10, 20 or 30 minutes.

You have to do it consistently (for 30+ days) for the byproduct to transform part of your life.

I don’t want you to be an unrecognized, unappreciated, unattractive, and unusable source of talent. My mission for this blog is to make sure you don’t make unintelligent decisions and overreact to things that tend to alarm you.

To achieve what you truly want to achieve, thinking clearly and thinking deeply, helps.

Yoga, meditation, walking alone, cooking by yourself, reading, listening to your favorite song, sitting at the docks or ANYTHING that calms you, is an avenue that will unlock your mind.

Try it and let me know how it feels.

P.S. The method of breathing I did in this video is called “box breathing”.

Take a big, deep, slow breath for 4 seconds.

Hold that breath for 4 seconds.

Breathe out for 4 seconds.

Stay calm for 4 seconds.

Repeat 4 times and feel the stress releasing from your body and mind.
