Tamari And Honey Chicken Drumsticks

Tamari and honey chicken drumsticks for Low Carb (under 20g per serving), High Protein (over 30g per serving), Dairy Free, Gluten Free diet.

What you need:

4 tbsp. tamari (for GF) or soy sauce

2 tbsp. honey

1 tbsp. sesame oil

4 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tbsp. minced ginger

12 chicken drumsticks

parsley & pomegranate seeds, to serve


What you need to do: 

Combine the tamari sauce, honey, sesame oil, olive, oil, garlic and ginger in a large bowl or container. Place the chicken drumstick in the sauce and splash the chicken well until covered. Marinade the chicken for about 6 hours or overnight, turn the drumsticks a few times during that time.

To cook the chicken, preheat the oven to 360F (180C). Transfer the chicken with the sauce into a baking dish and roast for 40-50 mins, until cooked throughout and browned. 

Once cooked, scatter over the parsley and pomegranate seeds and serve.
